Position: Sales and Marketing Consultant
Location: Washington D.C. Metro Area (Flexible/Remote Options)

Responsibilities:
- Maintain existing accounts.
- Identify and target potential advertisers, partners and sponsors to expand Washington Parent’s revenue streams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with businesses, schools, healthcare providers and family-focused organizations serving the DMV.
- Understand client needs and objectives to provide targeted marketing plans tailored to advertising and partnership solutions.
- Create compelling advertising proposals and campaigns.
- Actively research and stay current with industry trends to identify new opportunities for revenue growth.
- Attend family-friendly events and business networking opportunities to represent Washington Parent Media and its offerings.
Qualifications:
- Some sales or other relevant experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
- Familiarity with the Washington, D.C.-area family and parenting market is a significant advantage.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and CRM software.
